Program for remote rides along Port Credit Waterfront Trails
As we develop our program, we would like to offer more retirement homes in Mississauga the opportunity to have their residents experience the safe and scenic trails along the Waterfront Trails in Port Credit. To this end we have created a special route from Tall Oaks Park in the east to the Rhododendron Gardens in the west and vice versa.
With this plan we can provide 4 rides for 8 passengers on a given day with two rides in the morning and two in the afternoon (Delicate detail: Please be aware that we cannot exceed a combined passenger weight of 350lb on our trishaw. Please read through our Passenger Handbook and Waivers to be printed and signed ahead of time.)
We plan on starting our rides from the East end of our route at the base of Elmwood Ave S at Carlis Place at the entrance to Tall Oaks Park.
We will load our first passenger(s) and begin the ride at 10:00a WEST bound along the Waterfront Trail towards the end of our route which will be the Rhododendron Gardens by 11:00a. For the driver with the next two passengers, it would be a straight run along Lakeshore to the meeting point. We will then exchange passengers and return along the waterfront trail back to Elmwood Ave S at Carlis Place by noon.
Some convenient and scenic places to wait between rendezvous points would include the Port Credit Library, the new Marina Park, Saddington Park or the Rhododendron Gardens.
You can then return to your base to drop off your first tour and pick up the afternoon passengers. Depending on the driving distance to the residence, afternoon rides can be scheduled for 1:30p repeating the morning routine of starting at Elmwood Ave S at Carlis Place and exchanging passengers at the Rhododendron Gardens at 2:30p to finish up at the starting point by 3:30p.
Parking for your oversize vehicle should be available at Carlis Place and Rhododenron Gardens.
I hope the above routine fits with your plan and schedule. Happy to discuss and modify if necessary.
